Weird justice from Canada. Take for example the case of Normand Beaudoin, 33.
A mentally handicapped, HIV-positive man from Barrhaven, accused of the aggravated sex assault of two mentally handicapped women, he avoided jail with a guilty plea to a lesser charge of sexual assault against only one woman.
Luckily, both tested negative for the virus.
His sentence? Probation.
His conditions? Carry a note saying he has HIV and tell sex partners about his infection.
